Hi everyone! I’m Anna, the Founder and Clinical Director at Play Based Wellness. My passion for ABA stems from a deep love of helping children learn through joyful, meaningful connections. With years of experience supporting families in various settings, I focus on play-based, developmentally grounded techniques that honor each child’s individuality. My work emphasizes communication, social engagement, and compassionate behavior reduction, ensuring that children feel safe and confident as they navigate everyday challenges.

Hi everyone! I’m Lauren, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over a decade of experience in supporting children and families. My work includes clinical leadership, developing training programs, and providing direct ABA services. I focus on enhancing communication, emotional regulation, and empowering families with essential tools. I’m passionate about creating safe and motivating learning environments tailored to each child’s needs. Outside of work, I enjoy mentoring new clinicians and building strong relationships with families. I’m excited to support your child's journey here at the clinic!

Hi everyone. I’m Katie, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Play Based Wellness. I specialize in early intervention, play based learning, AAC support, and teaching functional communication as a replacement for challenging behavior. I love helping young children build engagement, confidence, and meaningful language through natural, joyful interactions. My goal is to create supportive learning environments where every child feels understood and ready to grow. I’m grateful to be part of the PBW team and honored to support the incredible children we serve.

Hi everyone! I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a deep passion for supporting children and their families through compassionate, individualized care. My journey into ABA began after five years as a preschool teacher, where I discovered how meaningful it is to support neurodivergent children in a more therapeutic setting. Becoming a BCBA allowed me to combine my love for teaching with evidence-based strategies that help children grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

As a BCBA, I focus on strengthening communication skills and increasing independence, while promoting meaningful, functional growth for both the child and their family. Collaboration is a cornerstone of my work, and I prioritize consistency across environments by actively involving parents and caregivers in the process. When the whole family is supported, meaningful progress becomes sustainable and lasting. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy reading, especially horror, strength training at the gym, and traveling to explore new places whenever I can.

Hi everyone! I’m Kandice, a Behavior Analyst in Training with a background in counseling and child development. I’m originally from a small town in Mississippi and bring over 10 years of experience working with children and families across clinical, educational, and therapeutic settings. I’m passionate about understanding the why behind behavior and using compassionate, evidence-based ABA strategies to teach meaningful, functional skills that build independence, confidence, and communication. I take a holistic approach that considers emotional and developmental factors, and I believe services should be individualized, practical, and supportive for both children and their families. I’m honored to do this work and grateful to partner with families to help children grow and thrive.

Hi everyone! I’m Dyna, a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with over 15 years of experience supporting children with developmental, motor, and sensory needs. My passion for pediatric occupational therapy comes from helping children build the skills they need to thrive in their everyday lives through engaging, meaningful experiences. I take a child-centered, evidence-based approach that supports each child’s unique strengths while making therapy fun and purposeful. My work focuses on developing fine and gross motor skills, sensory regulation, and independence in daily activities like dressing, feeding, and school participation. I also collaborate closely with families, teachers, and care teams to create consistent support across environments, helping children grow in confidence, independence, and success in both learning and daily routines.

Hi everyone! I’m Shahmeen, a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience supporting children across medical, rehabilitation, and school settings. My passion for speech therapy comes from helping children find their voice and communicate with confidence in ways that are meaningful to them. I take a personalized, evidence-based approach that honors each child’s unique strengths while making therapy engaging and functional. I specialize in working with children with autism, language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, apraxia, and social communication challenges, as well as feeding and swallowing needs. I also support children with complex communication profiles using AAC and alternative communication systems to ensure every child has a way to express themselves. As a multilingual provider, I value culturally responsive care and strive to connect with families from diverse backgrounds. I collaborate closely with caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to provide consistent support, helping children build confidence, independence, and success in their everyday environments.
